About “Out of the Past” and bloodbending
So here’s my question.
All this shit about bloodbending, right.
All the characters we see in the visions. Awesome.
WHERE THE HELL IS KATARA?
You know, the ONE OTHER CHARACTER who can ACTUALLY BLOODBEND?
Why is she not there?
Why is AANG’S WIFE not in any of the flashbacks? Why is she not kicking ass and taking names and defending herself and her loved ones against the bloodbending?
I just — I love the whole Gaang, I really do, but I’m actively frustrated now by Katara’s absence. I guess it’s possible that maybe she was pregnant with Tenzin at this point, or looking after him, or something, but … I can’t see her not getting involved in a BLOODBENDING TRIAL. She has STRONG FEELINGS on the matter! Surely she’d WANT to protect people against it and the alleged bender?
Blargh I am so confused and annoyed.
