I was giving the show the benefit of the doubt until the very last episode, hoping that it would complicate the Equalist/Bender issue and dig into its premises and be nuanced and thoughtful in its exploration of the asymmetrical power balance in Republic City.
I loved so many things about the finale, but I’m so, so sad about the way they’ve resolved the Equalist arc. So disappointed. I expected so much better.
